“In Tai Chi the whole body is filled with winding and circular motion. Internal winding motion is co-operated with External winding motion. When One moves, all others move together. All Chi power is delivered from the center of the Mind through the inside of the bones,then transmitted through the muscles and ligaments to the tips of the limbs.” - Chen Xin

Tai Chi Classic states “Movement like pulling silk”

Silk Reeling Chi Kung- is the essence of Tai Chi Chuan and is the fundamental method of training spiral energy inside and out and develops Zhong Chi or central Chi which is circulated around the Body with Minds intention. Circular winding spiral movements in harmonious sequences connect Mind/Body with the focus on breath, blood flow, muscle/bone connection.  Silk Reeling Chi Kung opens and loosens the 9 primary joints Wrist/ Elbows/ Shoulders/ Neck/ Waist/ Hips/ Back/ Knees/ Ankles/ Open the Gateway of Chi flow to extremities.

Chi -translates as Energy

Kung- translates as Work

Chi Kung- literally means Energy Work

The essence of Silk Reeling Chi Kung is a Method of 'Feng Song'

Feng Song- is trained Internal Energy of letting oneself to relax and loosen. The Art and Science of a Relaxed Mind makes a relaxed Body.

-Silk Reeling seeks the Unification of the entire Mind/Body through Spiral technology.

-The slow even twining nature of the movements stretches and strengthens the muscles, fascia and tendons, making them elastic and less open to injury.

-Increases the improvement of the depth of breath creating the intentional circulation of blood flow around major organs reducing and/or eliminating the stagnation and blockage of Chi, which allows for a Healthy Flow of Life and Health.

-Provides efficient load bearing exercises for he muscles and bones by condensing chi into the marrow creating density, elasticity, and strength.

-In class you will learn many techniques of how to develop your Meditation practice in Movement and Stillness.

- Meditation is Simplification of Mind or Single Mindedness

-Sincerity is the essence of Meditation

-Sincerity is the center of all Virtue of the Mind.

-Sincerity is to do a task with great care and with single mindedness.

-Sincerity requires internal devotion and concentration, and does not demand any outside forces of confirmation, authority, religions, or beliefs.

Chen Style Tai Chi Chuan

-Wu Chi and Yin Yang manifestation/ Empty Mind and the study of Internal and External Movement.

-Tu Na is focused breath work of gathering and releasing or expelling of energy.
